What does unlocking a phone mean is it the same as flashing. IF anybody knows what cricket provider is or pocket is it possible for ome to use my sidekick 3 with these plans even though it says to purchase thier phones?
Locking is when a mobile phone will only take a certain network's SIM card, some phones are easier (nokias) to unlock and allow other network's SIM cards to be used. Some people can unlock them for you, offering a service for a charge sort of thing. Not sure about sidekick's I've only known of bog standard mobile phones in the UK.
