I'm hoping that someone here can assist me with this. I'm working with Microsoft support and they don't know what they are doing. Especially since the kid is reading a script. Anyway, I'm running Windows XP Professional. I purchased it and I'm the administrator. I'm the only person that uses this computer; so there is no one else signed on to it. I also use Firefox as a second browswer as well. For some reason, I cannot access certain things in the internet options. I'm talking when you go into IE7 I click on Tools/Internet Options. I get a message saying that I don't have access and to contact the administrator. I'm signed in as the administrator. I also have a hijackthis file. Can someone tell me if there is something suspicious about his file? Any help would be greatly appreciated. @tboy34 I don't know if you have solved your problem yet, but I had the same issue, so I thought to share with you, maybe will be helpful. I think this is the error that you were getting: In my case, it is because Spybot, the antispyware program ,is set to do that. I didn't see Spybot in your log, but maybe your anti-spyware/malware/virus program has some similar settings. If not, you might have your computer infected.
