What does the " Link to this message " do if you click on it. I give up and will ask - I have clicked on it and does nothing
It does do something. When you first view a thread on Afterdawn, look up at the address bar. You will see the url of the whole thread. The url of this thread is http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/604318 If, in any individual message, you left-click the "Link To This Message" link, 1. That message goes to the top of the window 2. The url in the address bar changes to the url of that individual message. Your message's url is http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/604318#3651148. If you right-click the link, in Firefox you can choose "Bookmark this link" or "copy link location". In Internet Explorer you can right-click and a similar menu appears. This is useful because you can copy the url out of the address bar or by using the right click menu and send it to somebody or use it as a bookmark to an individual message rather than the whole thread.
