I'm playing an mkv file on VLC, but there is absolutley no sound, just a picture. Can anyone help me view the files with sound too? Thanks!
Do a search on your PC. look for vorbis.dll and see if you find it. Also, try Media Player Classic or Core Media Player: http://www.corecoded.com/modules.ph...e=article&sid=127&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0 it will say something about donation. blah,blah....go here to the download: http://www.corecoded.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=tcmp_home&file=downloadnow
WMP Classic didn't play it, and the download link doesn't work for the other program - just brings up an error message. I do, however, have vorbis.dll. Is this a good thing?
Are you running Windows XP or Vista? Download GSpot, is a little application that tells you what codecs were used for your file and if they are properly installed in your PC.It seems thast you don't have the proper codecs.
