blu-ray movie to H.264

    i just burned my blu-ray movie to my hard drive now i would like to change it to H.264 format.( just like the files you can download on any bitturent site ) can somebody please tell me what program i would use to do this

    Yep, I'd like to know how to do this as well. Ive used AnyDVD HD to copy the Blu-ray files to hard drive but dont know how to then encode the movie to h.264. Ive heard that a program called meGUI on Windows can do it, ive tried it, but can't work out how to do it. Any help would be really appreciated.

    It's funny, I create a thread titled "The complete HD (Blu-ray/HD-DVD) ripping and transcoding thread"... And you didn't look there! :-(

    You will find every application (including explanations) you need to do a Blu-ray to h264 recode.
