Clone DVD Query

I bought DVDCopyXPRESS and had limited success - maybe 2 copies in 5 tries.
I want to move on to something that works at least 90% of the time.
I am thinking of CloneDVD .
I noticed it is much more expensive that others. Does that mean better?
Do I need to purchase AnyDVD with CloneDVD ?
Is a plug-in required for encrypted DVDs? Is AnyDVD that plug-in?
I had to use a plug-in with XPRESS, so that one (started with an "M") is installed on my computer now.
Anything else I should know? Should I look at other products too?
Thanks in advance.

CloneDVD is a good ripper but does not decrypt. You would need
AnyDVD or DVDFabHD to do that part. I would recommend the combination of DVDFab and DVDShrink coupled with
Imgburn , all freeware.

Biblo65,
I downloaded all 3 files - DVDFab,
DVD Shrink &
ImgBurn .
When I run
ImgBurn , it either says the DVD is protected OR it freezes up and says "not responding"
Could there be something installed on my computer that is causing these DVD buring software to act up?

I tried the 21-day Trial of
CloneDVD &
AnyDVD but had trouble dupping the DVD "CRASH".
The log says everything is OK, then on the burn it says the source is too large.
So, I think I am better with the combination of DVDFab and DVDShrink coupled with
Imgburn (all freeware).
But, the same thing happened with those 3 - too large. I must be doing something wrong.
Are there written instructions anywhere here for the use of the DVDFab, DVDShrink and
Imgburn ?
There are a number of steps in each and many choices. Perhaps I just need help making the right ones.

After I wrote the above, I did a search and found "alkohol's" GUIDE.
I don't think I will need anything else. Very well done.
Will try it, step0by-step, today.
