I am new here, can anyone advise what is the best way to rip and burn DVDs onto my MAC (Tiger and Leopard OS) . I have heard MAC the Ripper is a good product if so, how can I obtain this software.

mac the ripper only rip dvd to vob
you can use handbrake(free) http://handbrake.fr/
you can also use iMedia Converter. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/30007/imedia-converter
