Hey all... I know this might be a long shot but im looking for an FM transmitter.. I need to get about 5 miles coverage and I need it to be able to run off a car battery...(no its not for a dodgy pirate) Im in Dublin and have been haveing a real tough time finding what i need.. I understand they are relatively easy to build(if you know what your doing) Anyone got any thoughts? Grassy Arse!!
Depends on what frequency you want. A ham radio is an FM transmitter, will cover 5 miles easily and can run off of 12 volts dc. What exactly are you trying to do with it? I may be able to point you in a direction.
