Hi all, I have questions. My specs are......

    QX6700
    790i Ultra
    OCZ Reaper DDR3 1333
    8800 GT SLI

I have been playing around trying to OC. So far my best is......

    3.4ghz, x10, 1.36v CPU, 1.4v FSB
    DDR3 1360, 6-6-6-10 1T, 1.8v

This is Orthos and Memtest stable. Couple questions......

    1) would it do me any good to lower or raise my multi to achieve higher CPU or memory clocks?

    2) when i set my CPU volts manually, no matter what i set it to it never runs at that voltage and always under volts, why ?

    3) does CPU volts effect ram and does ram volts effect CPU ?

    4) is it safe to set FSB volts to 1.55 ?

    5) whats safe voltage for CPU, i'm using tuniq tower

    6) my CPU idles 53c and 85c under Orthos, is this normal?

    7) speed fan says my idle case temp is 83c and 100c under Orthos. i have Antec 1200 with 7 2000 RPM fans and 200mm top fan all at 100%. and killer wire management so wires don't obstruct air flow. is my case temperature normal ?

    8) when i set my ram speed manually, no matter what i set it at the "actual" memory speed is always lower, why ?

    9) i'm using P05 BIOS, should i use P06? is this BETA and where do i find it ?

    10) when i have SLI enabled and try to watch a moive my PC crashes, why ?

    11) my ram boots at 2000mhz but fails Memtest past 1400mhz even if i relax the timings and raise the volts. does anybody else think it's odd i can't OC past 1400mhz and pass Memtest? i read on google people have this ram at 1600/1800 stable. am i doing something wrong?

    12) and finally, while tweaking my BIOS i noticed these settings and know nothing about them. what do they do and can tweaking them help me achieve higher clocks?

    System Clocks
    PCI-E x16 1/2/3
    SPP - MCP Ref Clock
    nForce SPP --> nForce MCP
    nForce SPP <-- nForce MCP

    FSB / Memory Config
    P1
    P2

    Advanced Memory Settings
    TRRD
    TRC
    TWR
    TWTR
    TFAW
    TREF

    CPU Configuration
    Intel Speedstep
    CPU Thermal Control
C1E Enhanced Halt State (i heard on google to disable these so i did)

    System Voltages
    nForce SPP
    nForce MCP
    GTLVREF Lane 1/2/3/4

Thank you very much to those who reply, I am trying to learn and appreciate your help. : - )
