hi...iv got a 50" samsung series 4 hdtv. the model number is PS50A456. i wanted to connect it to my laptop which has Windows Vista in it. the manual sort of tells me what to do but it explains it for windows XP... when i follow the instructions the laptop does connect to something but not the tv. ive used the VGA cable to connect the tv with the laptop. can someone tell me step by step what exactly to do....your help will be very much appreciated...Thank you!!!

thanks for the reply. i've done this but the desktop does not appear on the tv. everything is good on the laptop but nothing on the tv. i think there might be some settings on the tv which might need to be changed???? any ideas??? i have checked the sources on the tv menu it says pc but it comes in grey writing and cannot be selected.
