It's working about 50% of the time.. I know it's a bit off because it only has 3.1 ohms across the focus coils Don't think it can be tweaked because it's been set for max eyeheight and is just well down. I didn't want to mod it 3 years ago because of the poor laser. Owner is one of those people who doesn't get that you need a 100% laser in a ps2 before attempting to play burned disks, and keeps going on about how much money the chip costs yet won't spend £15 on a new laser to get it sold NY is too far to send it anyway, post costs are huge..more than a ps2 and chip.. It's a UK v5 in the North West.. If you haven't found one by Monday fire me a PM and I will have a word with the owner about possibly stripping it as he's probably only worried about selling the chip/mainboard. Do you want me to find out exactly how much shipping costs would be and how much he wants for it then get back to you? (If he's being stupid on price he's going to end up keeping it.. heheheh) Obviously any price will have the cost of a new laser knocked off.. otherwise the machine is A1.. toxic OS4 something installed and working well.
