Problem Updating The Box Firmware With 081208 Fix

Hi. I have recently downloaded the fix for the box pvr but after Installing the bin file then updating from HDD and, switching on auto update after scanning the screen stays black/blank apart from terrestial channels. has anyone else had this problem. Any appreciated. Happy Christmas and best for 2009 even if you cant help! ;-)
