HI GUYS I WAS TRYIN GTO FIX 1 OF MY MATIES BOX WITH THE LATEST FIRMWARE AFTER I FINISH THE DOWNLOADING AND TRY TO AUTOSACN IT NOTHING HAPPEND THAN WENT TO DO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING THEN DID THE SCAN AGAIN BUT NOW THERES NO CHANNELS ON THE BOX ANYMORE SO PLEASE NEED SOME HELP how to get my channels back on my digivox XL WITH MANY THANKXXX

thankxx matie and am sorry about the caps ,i did follwed all the instruction and my box is updated with the latest firmare but i did autoscan afew times but no channels found at all and nothing comes up even i cant get the channels back and stayed on the main menu thats it that where am stuck and dont no whatelse to do ..please its not my box its my friends so i need to get the channels back evenif i dont updated ,much approciate
Are you scanning on your correct provider previous to VM for eg, N*L, TW, C&W? where about are you and which did you use.? Make sure all connections are plugged in correct sockets at the back.
Hi just received 2 Digivox xl today, I am in teeside, added 1240 sofware to boxes ok, when i go to scan using N*L i get 0 channels found, i have tried to put 1220 sofware on 1 box but same no channels, I have coax plug on cable feed and plugged into cable input? Any help please
I am in N*L region i tried Telpest but same no channels not sure what is wrong, same on 2 boxes, cable feed ok tried on a different box and all channels work
I have noticed this has been happening since Xmas too in the West Mids. Auto scan is not picking up, maybe TW is playing about again. Switch off at back and go to manual scan setting the frequency at 131000 and enabling network and then scanning. Should work but something is definitely going on.
right people new digivox xl bought after 23/02/09 will have a new tuner and v1250 does not work,it is a manufacturing fault not a supplier fault,problem is being worked on and new firmware coming soon changed to new date on post
Hi Cacti, something is not right and have noticed some a lot more freezing the last few weeks too. Am keeping my eye on a few forums but it doesn't seem to be a big issue with others at the moment. Strange and it seems the Old Starviews are more stable than Digivox!
Hi The guy I bought it off told me the same today, i tried the 1250 software today still no channels, he said he is hopefull of new software tomorrow i will let everybody know when i get them working,
PEOPLE ITS BOXES BOUGHT AFTER THE 23/2/09 AND NOT ABOVE IF PEOPLE BOUGHT BEFORE THIS DATE THE 1250 WILL WORK ON THEM AFTER THE 23/2/09 THE 1250 WILL NOT WORK ON THE NEW ONES DUE TO A NEW TUNER INSTALLED ON THE BOX THEY ARE WORKING TO RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM AT THE MOMENT
The 1250 does work on boxes bought before Xmas but does freeze and does not have full screen. To me it seems that something has changed since Xmas and Digivoxes are freezing more and more difficult to scan. I am not scaremongering, this is a genuine complaint and |I am surprised there are not more people complaining.
look at my post above mate says after the 23/2/09 does it not what area are you in they are doing code rolling in some uk areas they are also upgrading cable as well for the 50mg broadband hence the freezing etc and it could be only certain areas having the problems otherwise there would be more reports
