    I purchased a 2nd hand laptop (HP4200) from my company with HD formatted.
    I loaded Win XP Pro using a friends disk. All loaded OK.
    However I cannot connect to the internet via broadband as the RJ45 port (and probably COM 1) is inactive. No ethernet driver = no connectivity.
    When I go into control panel / system / hardware / device manager I see no drivers installed for following:
    * Ethernet controller
    * mass Storage
    * Multi Media Audio Centre
    * Network controller
    ... etc ..

    I tried to install drivers using Win XP Disk - but software not available on disk.

    Can anyone help?
    Where could I get required software.

    Many Thanks,
    Joe 90.
    Dublin.
