Blue Ray to DVD

    Hello everyone,
    Now I'm new at the whole dvd burning thing so bare with me. I downloaded a 720p movie. Now I only have a regualr dvd burner not an hd one. When i burn the file to the disc my friend says that it automaticly convert to a normal dvd qualty and it will loose the 720p quality. Now is there any way to keep the full 720p and burn to a regular dvd??

    A 720p movie should fit on a single DVD5 (4.75 GB) with AC-3 audio if you use MPEG-4; but this means you will only be able to play back on a Blu-ray player, not most regular DVD players, which generally play MPEG-2 videos which is a less compressed format.
    Unfortunately shrinking and backing up HD video to DVDs is not a very simple matter and may require multiple steps with different software to accomplish. See this thread:
