burning xbox games

    Hey every1,

    I got an alladin mod chip a few days ago and I've read lots of articles and tutorials for burning games. But when I finnally tried, It didn't work!!! I connected my PC and XBox through ftp, then made the files 1 big ISO file and then I burnt it on to a TDK DVD+RW disk. When I put it into my xbox it says the dvd is unknown. What did I do wrong?

    you have to use a program called xiso to make a xbox iso then you burn the iso to dvd that should work.

    I have and used programs such as Qwix 101 and xiso but It still doesn't work!!!

    If there is any1 that has been successfull with backing up an xbox game it would be gr8 if you could tell me what you did!!!

    you say you burnt it "to" a disc, did you burn it as data or an image? it has to be burnt as an image, not just drag and drop. i highly recommend craxtion to make the iso

    I burn mine as a data disc everytime using RecordNow DX.

    Been doing it over a year that way and work everytime.

    Open wizard
    Insert disc
    Add files
    Click start

    No xiso or any other image needed.

    Can you burn it as an image on Roxio? What disks did u guys use? do I put all of the items from the real game into the ISO? is there something different I have to do about some "default.xbe" file?
