OK just some background iMAC 1.25GHZ G4 OS X 10.3.3
superdrive using memorex 4x DVD-R, The problem i'm
having is playing back the dvd backups on my mac they just
pop back out with out even being reconized. I have burned
over 100 backups and almost all of them do this a few (fargo,
the beach) show up and are watchable i was wondering if its a
driver that i need or perhaps a patch? all of the backups
however play in my PS2 and my regular dvd player they just
will not play on the iMAC. I have also tried to play some what i
would assume are avi/ divx dvd's and they are also not
reconized by the player. This has just started recently.Oh
yeah i forgot to add that i'm using DVDbackup 1.3 and
DVD2oneX 1.3.0 for backup and conversion respectivly.
    Apple DVD player 4.0.

I have a similar problem. On my
    G4imac800mhzOSX2Superdrive Ive been using
mactheripper and then dvdremaster and finally
dvdimager - fine. The problem is that Im not sure how to
burn using finder or disccopy. So far I have only been
able to burn discs that are playable only on my mac, not
on my standalone dvd player. There is much info on
using toast, but none on disccopy or finder. Can anyone
please show me how to mount and burn a disc that will
play on other dvd players besides my mac. I have read
many of these forums and many of the tutorials seem
    very vague, please be detailed.
