Ok, so I have ripped chapters from a few DVDs that I want to import to DVDSP2. In some cases, the .m2v and .ac3 came off with no problem. Other times, the .ac3 is invalid, and others the .m2v invalid. Tried switching from Elemetary Streams to QT, no good. Any ideas why this is happening? Is it the DVD? A setting in the app? How can I work around this in OSeX, or is there another app to work around it? Thanks for your help on my first post!

Hi, I am having the same problem as you. When I rip the dvd, the ac3 file won't inport into DVDSP sometimes. If you figured it out, please let me know.

the .ac3 file can be resolved by running it through mAC3dec, and converting it to AIFF. I had to convert all the other .ac3 files too, but once I did everything imported smoothly. No solution for the .m2v files, so if anyone knows...please speak up!

OK, I seriously need some help here. AC3 files have all been fixed in mac3dec. Files were originally ripped in OSex (tried both Full Screen and 16X9), and the .m2v files were run through MPEG Append Carb Pay in OS X. Doesn't fix them at all. Am I using the right version of MPEG Append, or is it just useless. The DVD is commercial, Glengarry Glen Ross. Also having the same problems with Hoosiers. Please help me out!

Sometimes the same thing happens to me. This is how I solve the problem. I use DVD backup to decrypt the DVD, then I use dvd2one to rip just the movie and audio. I then burn it on a DVD disc then I rip with osex. I hope this work.
