a longer cd

    I put a few comedians on VIDEO cds lately. but some are just too long. looking on the web I found 800mb 90min CD + R , can anyone tell me if those are any good. And if you can purchase them from a regular store??

    Any CD over 80 min./700MB is out of Red Book standards. 90-99 min. CD's will work only on some burners and they can cause playability problems. You need to make sure your burner supports "overburning" and also the burning software must support it to work. If both of these conditions are not met, you will still only be able to get 80 min. on the discs. There is no guarantee of dependability on these, that is why you will not see any major name brand of these discs, nor will you see them in retail stores. Some people say they work fine for them, others have problems. Burning at slow speed is recommended.
