any great software to look forward to?

    there's a million different programs all handling different aspects of dvd authoring, copying, decrypting, etc. My question is, is there any software in development that's going to consolidate all this technology become the one program to use for anything DVD-related? Do we have copyright infringement laws to thank for its absence?
