audio problem - no sound on some movies (avi,mpeg) until i move volume slider in player

    Hello there people

    I've got a weird problem with sound in certain types of movies (so far i've noticed it on DivX avi and mpeg files). No sound comes out on movies except when i move volume slider in the video player. THerefore to watch the movie I would have to be constantly moving the volume slider up and down. This occurs in BSPlayer, Winamp and WMP. Most frustrating!!! please help

    Damn i recall having this annoying problem before, check for something called "Independent Volume Control" (and disable it).
