guys i need help ok? i use winavi and nero and everytime i burn the movie and throw it in my dvd player i get popping noises for about 30 seconds or so i mean it only happens once or twice during the movie but i would like to know how to stop it from doing that please\ thank you
Sorry, I'll answer only if you tell me what did you want to make (a VCD? a SVCD? a DVD?) following one of our guides http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm (for AVI --> DVD), http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/multiple_svcd_on_dvdr.cfm (for SVCD into a DVD), http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vcd_to_dvd-r.cfm (for VCDs on a DVD) or one of my 'sticky' threads for (K)VCDs. You aren't trying to make a DVD from a small movie encoding it to mpeg-2/DVD (maybe with nero), isn't it?
ok i am using Winavi to convert xvid avis to DVD so i can watch then in my dvd player on my tv not my computer. i followed your win avi guide to the T. now the movie quality is good but atleast twice in hte movie there are "popping" noises for about 30 seconds i would like to know to to make this stop, is it my media? im using memorex dvd+r and i have a plextor dual layer dvd burner. should i use dvd-rs? i just want the popping to stop please help
