when i burn a dvd and try to play it using wmp or windvd immediately afterwards, it won't play. wmp says "no disc in drive." if i restart my computer it will play. anyone experience this? is it normal?
btw, i use dvd decrypter and dvd shrink.

Not normal but often a reboot does not hurt to flush out trapped memory.

How much memory does your system have?

my computer came w/ 512mb of memory. i'm not sure how much is available, but more than half i'm sure. how would this affect wmp or windvd not playing w/out rebooting?
i guess i don't mind the rebooting but if it's not normal, i'd rather not have to do it if i could figure out the problem.
    thanx for the reply.

512 Mb memory should be fine.

The only other things that I can think of that would require constant rebooting would be heat related or sypware on your system.
