I have a CD/DVD combo that I use to burn CD's etc...Recently the burner has just stopped burning no matter whether I choose to burn a music cd or data cd. Im using NERO Express which I have uninstalled a few time but the results are the same. When I click on the burn button, the cd draw opens and asks for a blank cd even if there is a blank cd in the drive. The drive can play CD's and DVD's though.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Try a different burning application and if that don't work, try different brand name media.

Ive tried WinOnCD and a different type of disk but it still doesnt work. Ive tried to wipe a cd-rw using CloneCD but that doesnt work either. Ive looked at the device properties as well and they say 'This device is working properly.'

Ive also tried to download the latest drivers for my device but that doesnt work either.
