    Hi,

I have split an AVI movie file into 2. I have blank CD-ROMS which are 700MB capacity. One of the AVI files is 690MB, and the other is 717MB.

I want to burn these files to a CD ROM, so I can delete the AVI files off my computer to save space.

How can I burn the 2nd AVI file cause its just over the 700MB mark. Splitting it into 3 files will only waste the space on the CD ROMS. Is there a way to compress the 2nd AVI just a tiny bit to make it fit into the CD ROM.

    Merry Christmas,

try VirtualDub, but you will probably lose quality compressing it.

    Hi,

I have the latest Virtual Dub v1.6. I used this to split the AVI file. I went back to it, like you said, but cannot find how to compress the AVI file.

Is there a good guide for this, or can you help me out a little.
