I would like to know if it is possible to burn discreet pieces of data on a DVD such as a video clip, and/or music clip and/or a downloaded tv show. If it is possible, can a program like Nero acheive this feat? Thanks

Of course. Just use the DVD-ROM (data DVD) mode in Nero and then drag and drop the files and burn. Of course the files will only be playable on your PC and I am assuming these clips are already as files on your HD?
