    Hello,

I just burnt a DVD with Ulead movie creator and everything was going fine. I downloaded a few short clips from the internet which were saved as MPGs. When I placed the dvd in my home player, everything worked except all the movies were scrambled. Very scrambled.

What could it be and how can I make it clear next time?

Well DVD is a very high quality video format (actually MPEG2 is the format).

What has happened is that the small clips you have downloaded are not some good quality ones. So when Unlead tried to convert them to DVD and change the resolution to 720x576 and the compression to MPEG2 the videos came up crap.

You cannot make it clear, you can only download high-quality clips.

Try and download Xvid or DivX movies/clips from the internet because they are a small file size but great DVD like quality.
When converted into DVD, they are excellent quality considering their previous file sizes.

Follow my guides for DivX, XviD to DVD for great quality.
