Can´t show any videofiles through my LCD TV,

even though I can see them at the same time in my laptop screen.

I have my laptop connected so that I can use my TV-screen as my laptop screen and everything else is working great(internet, photos, etc. )
but when I try to play some videofiles ( usually divX or avi )with Mediaplayer, BSPlayer or VLCPlayer, they show ok in my laptop but at the same time there is only a black box showing in TV screen.

I even can see the Mediaplayer skin in my TV screen but not the actual video..

What´s the prob?

here`s betting it was somwhoe related to the fabled "overlay" you hear so little about...

..or something like that anyways..
