I paid $40 for the shareware dual dvd copy gold. I also downloaded dvd shirnk and dvd decrypter.

So far, the only time that i can use dual dvd copy gold is when the sofware is not encrypted.

For example, educational dvds or workout dvds will copy using the easy-to-use dual dvd copy gold, but no tradional movies.

Am I missing something? The reason I ask is because dual dvd copy gold is very easy (you click one button and everything is doen for you).

    Thanks in advance.

The company that orignally made DVD Gold is out of business, and the program you bought does not have the ripper included so you cannot copy decrypted DVDs. If you have downloaded DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter use those programs for your backups, all legal of course. Check this forum for some excellent guides on using these programs, i.e. Scuba Pete and BBMayo

DVDD is about 3 clicks. So is DVDS. Not exactly what I'd call hard to use.
