can I make a DVD-R using .AVI files?

    How can I make a DVD-R using .AVI files?

    Use TmpgEnc Plus to convert the .avi in a mpeg2 file(m2v+mp2). After this use IfoEdit to author the DVD and burn with Nero/ RecordNow DX(Recomended). If you need more help ask!_X_X_X_X_X_[small]kremlincrackers :)[/small]

    Tmpgenc does it all 4 u? does it not? ifoedit is a tedius process to use in xp. only good in 2k

    The TMPGEnc only do the elementary strems( m2v = video ; mp2 = audio).

    Note: If your audio is in AC3 keep it, don't convert.

    After this you need to build the DVD (.vob files). For that use IFOEdit(Freeware)or DVD Maestro or Scenerist NT.

    I using the DVD Maestro but is hard to work :)
    IFoEdit the the most simple to work, because don't have menus, only the movie!

    Try newest DVD2SVCD if you want easy way..
