I have seen software advertized that claims you can turn your downloaded video files into DVD's without a dvd burner - using your CD burner. Is that possible, do they really work, and if so, which program is the best? I apologize if this topic has already been posted and discussed, but I searched and could not find it.
you can make vcd's or svcd's using nero. they are videos on cd's but most dvd players will read them, but because a cd doesn't hold as much as a dvd (700mb vs 4.7gb) you may have to put that movie on two or more cd's there are guides here to help
Hey izzysmom, Of course it works! Here is what I THINK you need for the software and instructions: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/nero_supervideocd_guide.cfm This should get you started and well on your way!
No problem...but this should help you out, I am actually trying to do a dvd to a cd, just to test it. But the guide is really good. Also, if you do decide to get into alot of dvd burning, these guides are excellent: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/ ;P
