Hello - I had been using DVD-Shrink & Nero hapily for quite a while.

Suddenly it stopped working. I have read just about every post where people have had the same problem & I have done EVERYTHING that was advised. I'm using branded DVDs, I have the latest firmware, have reinstalled.

Please note I can't burn using DVD shrink OR Nero by itself - It's a brand new bloody drive!

The only thing that might be the problm is I *was* using a cracked copy of nero, this may have expired or gone bad or whatever. Anyway, I have now uninstalled it & installed an OEM version that came with my burner. I'm thinking the cracked copy might have messed up my registry. My log is below: Thanks so much in advance

The forum doesn't allow e-mail addresses for your own safety. Spammers love those e-mail adresses.

I never actually saw your address, I thought you already removed it. I was just advising on why it shouldn't be posted.

    Cracks shouldn't be discussed.

However, to completely clean your registry of Nero, uninstall Nero, then use nero clean tools to completely remove any remnants left in the registry after the uninstall.
