My computer is really getting annoyin.
My computer won't hibernate or stand by anymore
it used to do it fine...I think I deleted 3 files that have to do with the hibernating or stand byin... it weren't huge programs...actually Nortan Antivirus 2004 software did it...I think cuz it told me it could possibly be a virus...So now i have a problem...
I know...it was stupid...but is there any way of fixing the not hibernating/standbying? Is there a way to do it without running recovery?

Is there a solution to this? Plz reply ASAP...

Hi jay05, Have you checked your settings for power management? Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, then Power Options. You can set your standby times there. If it still doesn't work then you may have deleted something important to those settings.
