Can't seem to get more than 2 episodes on one disc..why?

    I got a DVD with 13 anime episodes on from someone and it was on a 4.7GB DVD-R disc which played fine on my DVD player. Now im trying to do the same thing and i can't seem to get more than 2 to a disc. I don't understand how they managed to do it and i can't. please can someone help me cause im totally lost.

    Im guessing,what they used is the mpeg 1 format.(vcd)
    You can fit alot on one dvd, but the picture is not, dvd quality.

    How do you do that then without it telling you there isn't enough room?

    Try opening it up with DVD Shrink to see how big it says the titles are. Make sure to set it to no compression so you get accurate numbers.
