    Hello everyone.

    Great forums here btw,

Minion, you have a ton of knowledge and have answered alot of my questions already so thanks alot!

Ok, so I was wondering what software you guys would suggest for capturing from an analog source. (VCR -> DVD)

Currently i'm using pinnacle studio 9 (I know what the the pros think of it...bleh) to capture and I would like to use something better, so please, suggest away.

To encode to MPG2, I'm using TmpGenc Express and to author i'm using DVDLabs. I'm also using the HuffYuv codec for avi's when rendering from studio 9.

My setup is an xp 3200+, 1Gb ram, 2x36Gb raptors raid 0 for OS, 2x 200Gb raid 0 SATA seagate's for video files and an old 120 for important stuff (files and such).

    Thanks for the suggestions!
