I have tried to change the bitrate of a file using TmpgEnc. The output file plays at the lower bitrate but the file size is the same as if I encoded it at the standard bitrate. Does anyone know what the problem is, as I have seen bitrates changed on my mates computer to lower the size of files. Are there any other encoders that will enable me to change the bitrate of my files ? Thanks.
If you hjave it set to Video CD then click the setting button and click the last tab and ull see the option to change to MPEG-1 VideoCD (non standard)
