Changing Hard drive on a laptop

    Just bought an new hard drive to my laptop.

    [bold]The question is[/bold]

    1. I took and image of my old hard drive on to a Dvd-RW with Norton Ghost. So the only thing i have to do is Install Windows XP and Norton Ghost on my new hard drive and recover the image that i took with Norotn ghost right?

    Jepp it worked. Had some problems because the old drive was 20gb so Norton ghost thought the new drive was 20gb too. But with Partition magic you could easyli stretch it back to normal size. :)

    Yep....

    Acronis True Image 8.0 works nicely too and for 33 bucks it's alot cheaper than Norton Ghost....something to think about for future purchases (free advertising for Acronis!).
