Comp not Posting

    Hi all,

    My problem: my computer doesnt post

    I have tried my 2 x 512mb PC2700 onto another computer and it worked fine.
    I have tried a different Processor on it which works but didnt.
    I tried a different Graphics card which is new which didnt work.

    I think its my motherboard.

    Any help appricated.

    does the board power up besides not posting?? disconnect all cards & ram except for video & 1 stick of ram. check motherboard to see if the can shaped capacitors are flat topped & not domed. disconnect all data cables to motherboard. disconnect all power cables to drives. reseat the power connector(s) to motherboard. clear the cmos chip

    Yea powers up but not post, tried all that taking everything out and just 1 graphics card then the other, and 1 processor then the other in and nothing.

    Caps are Flat and not leaking, and have cleared the cmos, and reseated the powercable and tried a different psu, nething else i can try??

    Yea i think so, so u think its the motherboard?

    if you tried cpu, ram, videocard & psu on other computer & it posted but this 1 doesn't so what is left but the motherboard

    Well i replaced the moterboard and it the computer is now working fine.
