DirectX problems/video card

    hey, if i buy a 128mb video card and it says this "Support 3D API: DirectX 8.1, OpenGL 1.3" does that mean that it wont support DirectX 9? Thanks

    Just so you have an answere to this. Yes it should support DX 9 if the maker put out drivers to do so. That card may have been made before DX 9 was even thougt of. You should be alright.

    The card will be work, but not all features of DirectX 9 will be supported such as some of the advanced shaders if it is a DirectX 8.1 card.
