    Although there have been minor reported problems with the 4.71.1, and the 4.60 was solid, Adaptec are packaging it as follows:

    ASPI32.SYS - 4.71.2
    WOWPOST.EXE - 4.6 (1021)
    WINASPI.DLL - 4.6 (1021)
    WNASPI32.DLL - 4.71.2

    You shouldnt have a problem with these

    Ya ive seen that 471/460 combo a lot lately.... doesnt quite seem as solid as with all of one version or the other... dunno, maybe its just me

    That's some great info guys! I'll let you know how the DVD ripping works.Unfortunately,when I actually want to use it,my ATI 8500dv tv feature doesn't want to open
    up completely.Probably, a missing driver issue.I'm going to go to ATI site to see the latest.
    Anybody have an 8500dv? They're multi pinned purple connection cord is toally frustrating.The thing never lines up right, falls off constntly,and is just a major headache.And this is the second cord that I bought from them, and haven't even used.
