A friend has a problem with a laptop she bought,in that she has only got a DVD+ format drive. Is it possible to reflash it to write DVD- format discs or is she stuck with it as it is. The drive is a QSI IIRC.

    Many thanks in advance.

as far as i know, there is no way, just to ask why do you need to change it to -R anyway?

I didn't think there was any chance, really. It's just that she has a stock of DVD-R disks which she'd already bought. I'll end up taking them off her and get her some DVD+ disks to replace them.

The guy in Dixons must have seen her coming and unloaded a lot of useless stuff. Then she comes and asks "How do I backup my DVD's. It doesn't seem to work!"

Many thanks for the reply, mate.

    Regards.

    Buzz.
