I am extremely new to this. I just want to save a dvd onto my hard drive to view later. Is DVD Shrink the right software for this? I have a Dell computer and I would like to watch the DVD using Dell Media Experience instead of PowerDVD. I tried saving the DVD to the Dell Media experience, but it only opens up using PowerDVD. Does anybody know how to change that? Should I have downloaded SmartRipper or something else? I would appreciate any input. Thanks

Just choose files instead of your drive and play. Should work on any software player.

dvd shrink will work (if you want to compress the movie to save space). or dvd decrypter will just rip the dvd straight to the hd.
