DVD to VCD, When I playback, I have no sound.

    I have recently converted a DVD movie to VCD as a backup. I used the Smartripper, DVD2AVI, and TMPGEnc, and then burned it to a CD-r using NERO 5. When I tried to play the movie on my stand alone DVD player, i had lost the sound. I used the instructions on the AfterDawn site. Does anyone know what I did wrong?

    Most likely you selected the wrong audio track in DVD2AVI -- you need to select either AC3 or DS2.0 audio, DTS doesn't work.
