    This may be due to the simple fact that DVD Decrypter didn't get around the encryption. Strange that you didn't get any error messages.I take it that when you say dvd player you mean a standalone unit NOT the computer dvd player? Do you use only one media type disc, either DVD+R or DVD-R format? This may seem odd but have you used a lens cleaner? This won't hurt anything, but it is a good practice,especially if there are the very young using the player. If you want, I can post links for some FREEWARE/SHAREWARE apps that'll make life even easier with RIPPING and burning etc. Let us know how you go.

    Cheers

    OK, here we go
    Just for the interim, use DVD-R format discs(will suite all older style players,incl new types, MULTI FORMAT)
    As far as software is concerned, here are some links, that should be of considerable use to you, they are freeware;

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm

    http://jean.laroche.free.fr/MenuShrink/

    The two programs above work well with each other(no doubt)

    These apps that are listed below are SHAREWARE (cost money)
    AnyDVD etc, by SLYSOFT.... worth the money? THESE ARE WORTH THE BUCKS, JUST ASK ANY AD MEMBER.
    One last app that I love is, ALCOHOL 120%. This IS FOR YOU!

    http://www.slysoft.com/en/

    http://shop.alcohol-soft.com/en/purchase.php

    These SHAREWARE apps,have TRIAL downloads. There are issues with deleting these files,before you purchase. Please read all AD threads before posting issues.

    Cheers.
