I am using DVD2SVCD to convert an avi file to DVD format. After the CCE (2.5) run, mplex start to merge the created .mpa and .mpv file.

This is where it ends. The mplex log file shows the following :

    ----------------------------------------------------
    INFO: [???] mplex version 2.0.0 (2.2.3$Date:2004/01/13 20:45:26 $)
INFO: [???] File F:\Programs\Video\DVD2SVCD\Movie\Pulldown_Encoded_Video_NTSC.mpv looks like an MPEG Video stream.
    **ERROR: [???] File unrecogniseable!
    **ERROR: [???] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting.

    ----------------------------------------------------

This does not help a lot. The used .mpv file can be played with Nero Showtime and the .mpa file plays with Media Player.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It turns out that the problem lies within the .mpa file. Still, I have no idea what is wrong with that file.

The .mpa file is generated by CCE, so I guess (hope) that it has to do with some kind of setting.

I'm having a similar problem. It seems to make it through the multiplexing and advances to the DVDAuthor portion of the process. It's there that it fails. I have the same info in my mplex log, but I also get this info from my DVDAuthor log:

Can anybody help with this one? Thanks!![IMG]
