dvdfab platinum & dvdfab HD ecrypter

    yes, i read the guides but being a newbie at this i don't know what i am looking for.
    i am mainly burning old dvd's like matrix/blades etc. I got a tip to use DVD Fab platinum and all was working well. Today i have Narnia, charlie & choc factory, lemony ssnicket (can you tell i have kids) and dvdfab isnt working.
    DVDfab was doing the lot, rip/burn/
    what is dvd encrypter and will this help me?

    make sure you have the last updates on fab it works on every movie with updates...go here to get it..http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=DVDFab_Decrypter ,,, hope this helps

    Hi, yep, the blades are for me....can only take so much of charlie and the choc factory.lol.

    I clicked on the link and the following message comes up- i selected the us version but i am in australia.

    After i clicked on that, it ran the program but then the below message apeared

    Open Ripit and select Log/settings then Preferences, and uncheck the box "check for updates at startup" How did you get on?

    ..and if all else fails, just try DVDFab Decrypter (the free one, couldn't be easier), followed by DVD Shrink or program of your choice

    did you mean to say DVDFab Decrypter as opposed to DVD Decrypter ?. i still use DVD Decrypter a lot but only for films (usually old films) where DVD Decrypter can cope with the encryption.

    edit- doh, it's too early, i re-read your original post, re older films, in which case DVD Decrypter is a good choice.
