DVD's dont play after installing ffdshow

I recently downloaded the lite Nimo Codec pack and installed it without ffdshow and got the newest ffdshow from the sourceforge site (official site). Ever since then I cant get DVD movies to play on my computer, it worked fine right before this. I unistalled nimo codec pack and ffdshow. If anybody could help, i would really appreciate it.

Reinstall your dvd player software.

 

I have reinstalled the player. And installed different players too and all of them dont work.

 

Do you get some kind of error? You open your dvd app and you click file, open, and browse to your dvd drive, what happens?

 

I can open the file and the player will play the dvd for about 3 seconds before the player crashes.

 

Sounds like those codec packs messed things all up. If you have your drivers and OS, i suggest wipe and reload. Other then that, i'd need to see what you have installed, etc. Big pain in the read end.
