I started this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/184761#983220 and have posted a couple of times. Currently I am the last person to post in it. I have been notified 4 damn times since I posted in it last, Saying the thread has bee updated. I'm starting to go nucking futs.
Anytime someone posts to a thread it is updated. 4 posts = 4 updates. If you want to stop receiving updates, unsubscribe from the thread which can be done from the first e-mail page. Jerry
I understand that, And everytime someone has posted I have recieved an email letting me know. And thats all cool. But, I also recieved 4 emails saying it had been updated and it hadn't.
So you are getting 4 extra post messages. My suggestion is to contact one of the MODs about the problem so they can pass it on through the proper channel and to the right person. Nephilim or Flip218 can probably help. Jerry
hmmm, i just had one of those mysterious emails, though nothing had changed on the thread (i have a Blackberry so i get instant notifications). Not a problem, it's way past my bedtime anyway (01:04 and i've gotta watch Jabberwocky yet!)
Please note also that you might get an update note for a thread and mod -- for whatever reason -- might have removed already the message the notification arrived for.
