Not sure if anybody heard, but Robert "Evel" Kneivel passed away in his sleep yesterday. We all remember him as the guy who jumped motorcycles, but he actually had a family. Let this be a memoriam of his acheivements.

New World Record tonight,Robbie Maddison, 322 feets 7 and a half inches amazing!!

Maddison broke the record of 277-6 set by Trigger Gumm in 2005 in Australia. During practice Sunday night, Maddison jumped 350 feet.

Amazing how much a 6-7 mph headwind will take off the distance...he jumped twice last night, or this morning as he wasn't happy with his first attempt. He wanted to go 360 feet but the conditions wouldn't allow it.

I'm sure he can do it, but he'll need a little more bike and a nice tail wind.

    R.I.P.

He was a cool guy; despite being a conceited, self-centred, egotistical individual. Notwithstanding, this is a sad day for all of those who aspire to risk their safety doing insane stunts. Sad indeed.
