Hi, everybody I just want to make sure that people will not make the same mistake like me. I have bought some news 4x DVDPro media(my first 4x media) from Meritline for my A-05. A few days before I received the media, I had upgrade my firmware from 1.00 to 1.33 from the official Pioneer site, to make sure that my drive will be able to write at 4x. When I burnt my first 4x DVDpro with RECORDNOW DX, It wasn't 4x but only 2x. I said WTF!"/%$%?&&*, the media was supposed to be 4x not 2x. The disc started to burn at 4x for the first 30 sec. but after then it dropped to 2x until the end. I knew it wasn't the media but the fu//"/ing 1.33 fw. So I downgrade my 105 firmware to 1.33 to 1.00 like before. My 105 can now burn perfectly those media at 4x. I really don't know why Pioneer had made such a bad firmware upgrade.
